Your Body Speaks In Truth - Do You Love Yourself?
(7 minutes to read)
Did you know that serious illness is usually triggered by prolonged internal conflict?
We’re going to look at:
Why this is important?
Where internal conflict comes from?
How can you know if you really love yourself?
How it affects you and your body?
What can induce healing?
Why is it important?
Internal conflict is the one that mostly goes on under your conscious radar. This is especially true of our civilizational illnesses, the chronic ones, the autoimmune ones; diabetes, asthma, cancer, psoriasis, allergies, heart disease and so on. Yes, there are the genes, the environmental factors, the quality of food, water, and air.
But why do some people get ill and others don’t when they all live in the same environment? Dr. Gabor Mate, who studied and researched in-depth the relationship between trauma, stress, and illness, comes to this conclusion in his book “When The Body Says No”: the majority of people who fall ill with severe illnesses have internal conflict in common. It is the final blow to their bodies.
Where does internal conflict come from?
People, the vast majority of us, don’t love ourselves.
When you look in the mirror and you have 10 points of self-criticism towards your body? “I don’t like my thighs, my nose, my hair, my belly, my breasts are too small or too large etc”
Exposing yourself to fear-inducing news
The silent judgment of others
These all are a reflection of your own lack of self-love.
Now I can hear a few voices in this readership protesting: “but I love myself!”
How would you know if you really love yourself?
Are you ambitious? Ambition is poison to your body.
Are you shy? Shyness is poison to your body. I know that first hand, I was very shy and ambitious.
Do you complain, finger-point, accuse? It’s pure poison.
Are you grandomanaical, introverted, bullying, a victim to bullies, to authorities to those who have power?
Are you mistreating others, are you judging others as inferior or superior to you?
Do you worry about your future, are you afraid in the first place no matter what?
Those are all signs that you don’t love yourself.
The Language of Your Body:
If you chronically don’t love yourself, if you are chronically overriding your feelings in order to fit in, if you are chronically attracting non-loving relationships, if you are chronically unhappy, what do you think how your body will answer to all this chronicness? You bet very likely with chronic illness, chronic stress, chronic depression. That is the language of your body. I know this from my own experience.
Now to clarify: Your body is the smartest little piece of invention, a sophisticated creation. It has refined itself over millions of years. It knows much more than your thinking mind ever can. For instance, it knows exactly when you are not true to yourself when things are off. It immediately lets you know in its own language that it is time to attend to that disharmony inside you. That language is called “gut-feel” or sensation.
You always know when things are off, but you have been taught and you taught yourself to override these messages from your body. In other words, you have learned to disconnect from yourself. Consequently, you don’t know anymore who you are. Simply put: you are sick or you get sick because you don’t know who you are. And when you don’t know who you are you don’t love yourself.
Now here is where the body makes a choice:
Our bodies are super intelligent in a non-intellectual way. The personality-self, known as your ego, which does not love its body is like a poisonous toxin in the body. What does the body naturally want to do with toxins? It wants to eliminate them. If the personality-self does not learn to listen to and follow the body’s messages about the need to heal from ambition, fear, and stress, the body will very likely invite physical illness at some point or another. It does that in order to be heard and be paid attention to.
You can choose to turn this around though. But you need to get to know yourself first for that to work. So do something to get to know who you really are.
How could you learn to know yourself, to understand your body’s language?
Here are three things I have cultivated, and they may work for you as well:
Energy Healing
Acupuncture
Silence
Energy Healing done remotely works in powerful and surprising ways. At first, I didn’t believe this might work for me. But I am a converted believer now after 4 years of exposure to it. In this time I have definitely learned a great deal about what it means to love myself. And now I have choices to care for myself which I could not have accessed beforehand.
Acupuncture is also a form of energy work but in person. It gives my body a strong point of reference about what it feels like to be in flow, in harmony. My body loves it. I have been going twice a week for over a year now. Through acupuncture, I learned that my body is a willing and loving entity which is teaching me how to love it back.
Silence: Another way that worked for me, most likely the most important one, is by slowing down, stopping and viewing my life from a stopped position. From silence. Silence of the mind is a form of self-love that needs to be learned. The body craves it.
These are the three main ways I used to move from lack of love towards myself (which is a definition of illness) to healthy self-love over the last four years. I have managed to strip off all major sources of stress one by one. I know that for sure because I don’t feel anymore that insidious feeling that I need to move on to the next darn thing.
What is love towards your body?
Loving your body is not a fuzzy warm feeling which hovers in pink clouds. It’s not an emotion. It is rather an action you take towards listening to and caring for your body.
Embrace it in its need for harmony, for peace for gentleness and give it to it. Let it guide you. Let it show you what health truly means. Get to know it. Clean off that hidden and also obvious stress you created by not really loving yourself. Be your body’s friend and please, please stop misusing it with all those forms of stress. Change now, start now. Give your body a good helping of love.
Finally, your body is your sacred ground. Your body is the only sacred ground you’ll ever step on. It is your own temple. When you enter a temple you take your shoes off as a sign of respect. Respect your body, internally bow down in humility when you ask it to guide you. This sacred temple of yours is really the only thing you will ever have. As long as you are fortunate to have it, stop, listen, take note, learn, care for it. May you see and know how fortunate you are to have a body.
What ways did you find to love yourself?
What are you struggling with when it comes to loving yourself?
What else are you present with as you were reading this text?

Do You Think in loops? What would the Buddha’s Spleen Do?
The emotionally balanced spleen will keep you clear, receptive and internally balanced. It keeps you neutral, calm, and peaceful. Maybe that’s why the Buddha was able to achieve balance of the mind.
When out of balance you’ll feel frazzled, unable to concentrate, and ineffective. You’ll notice that you tend to think in circles, maybe even obsessive thoughts.
Emotionally, self-doubt, disconnection, loneliness, and heartbreak stay lodged in here. You may find yourself mulling over what she or he said 20 years ago without being able to resolve that. These are all ways in which your spleen is trying to show you that you need to care for yourself and for it. Addiction to sweets is also a matter of the spleen.
Four things to keep your spleen healthy:
avoid ice-cream (did I really say that? So sorry fellows) - it hates cold sugary dairy products; those deplete its energy rapidly
sleep early every night, by ten or earlier (sorry late nighter’s :)
build up a meditative practice like Qi-Gong and T’ai Chi, or Yoga and definitely sitting meditation (can’t sit still? A blogpost will follow just for you, stay tuned or book a session with me)
find peace with your past - many ways are available now - start by googling or ask me directly
What would your life be like if you had peace of mind?
Could you make one little change now in your life towards that?
The Liver: Gateway to Empathy and Collaboration
The liver’s emotional function is to manage the motivation behind our drive to act.
If the liver is out of balance or sick it will tend to create the perception that “I am alone, the world is against me” and “I am the only one who can do this”. It generates the feeling of isolation, the root of so many contemporary and past problems.
In its extreme this is the drive behind anyone who wants to be an authoritarian ruler, like the dictators of our history past and present.
In the more domestic version this leads to authoritarian parenting which sets into place a whole pallet of traumas inflicted upon our young.
The liver activates the energy of anger that stems out of a deep sense of frustration about feeling isolated.
People with PTSD or those who experienced childhood trauma experience outbursts of anger. These outbursts can be internal like when you grumble about something that is not going your way. Or they can be expressed externally like in road rage or when you see homeless people who talk to themselves angrily with a loud voice as if someone is near them. You can bet that their liver is seriously out of balance.
Unresolved emotional, psychological, and spiritual issues like these can lead to serious and chronic illnesses of the liver.
If the liver is healthy and balanced it will guide us to take actions that are collaborative and born out of empathy. Consequently we will act in harmony with people and our environment.
People who likely had very healthy livers are the people who create good in everyday life throughout history. They are the famous spiritual leaders of humanity. The Buddha, the Dalai Lama, Theresa of Avila, Mahatma Gandhi
In this group are those who choose compassionate parenting styles that emphasize the unfolding of the children’s highest potential and ability to collaborate with others. They propagate the ideals of peace and harmony with life to their children.
A healthy liver is going to generate a feeling that there is enough for everyone and that there will always be enough. In other words a healthy liver generates the feeling of trust.
Question:
Where between the two extremes do you experience yourself in?
Why do you think or intuit that you are that way?
Are You Being Slowly Chewed Up By Stress? There Is A Way Out
So many people are aware of stress triggered by the circumstances of everyday life.
There is however a different type of stress. It is the hidden stress that most of us don't even identify as stress. Being stressed has become part of the fabric of who we are. The scary thing is that it drives us in our decisions all the time. And those decisions produce more stressful situations and circumstances. I say this from personal experience and discovery during my own healing journey.
The second type is usually identified as chronic stress.
It is like slowly being chewed up from the inside without even knowing it. As shown in the work of Dr Gabor Maté, it is now being identified more and more as one of the main triggers that set into motion a whole slew of auto-immune diseases also known as our civilization diseases. You've heard of them, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, inflammatory digestive system diseases, arthritis and many more.
There is a way out. The past does not have to be set in stone, it can be recharged and transformed into a healing field. It can become our source of healing. Here is where Energy Healing comes into play, which is the work I do.
Energy Healing opens that door. I’ve experienced it myself in myself and in clients who received healings.
Energy Healings do disarm that which has caused chronic stress in us. By doing so the body can gradually calm down and reduce the constantly operating mostly unconscious mode of hyper-alert vigilance looking for yet another stressor.
Do you intuit that you have this type of hidden stress?
May you give yourself permission to dissolve it?
Future Questions: A Glimpse of Empowerment
You may be one of the many people who have a pressing question about their future. Such questions are triggered by your own higher self to try to reach you and enrich you.
To give one’s concerns the respect and attention they require, it seems important to find out the real motivation behind them. Normally a question like “will I be able to be happy in the future through x,y,z solution?” comes from a deep-seated need to feel safe.
When we do not feel safe about what might happen in the future naturally we all want to find guidance. Through that guidance, we are hoping to feel safe again. This is a normal process for all humankind. You are not alone.
What kind of support and guidance can you find?
There is a lot of precious information and knowledge hidden in your own energy field that is waiting to make itself known to you. Your own higher self requires you to cultivate an awareness that attracts outcomes that are beneficial for you.
What if you could slowly but surely find those aspects of your awareness?
A Teaching That Liberates You
Photo by Benjamin Voros on Unsplash
Through working with my Earth teachers over three decades I have accessed a body of teaching that has surprised and awed me with its depth and internal consistency.
I have been called to allow the wisdom of these teachings to speak through me to humanity. Here is what I have learned:
Photo by Benjamin Voros on Unsplash
We are One Human Body on this planet - not several billion
The Earth's body is our body. Our body is the Earth itself. There is no separation
The One Human Body is infected with a virus-like affliction that creates the illusion that we are separate
Separation is a shocking form of trauma each human being receives from the get go
The effect of separation on the human body is one of permanent fear
Though we don't see this force, we can perceive its enslaving presence whenever our actions come from or lead to separation
There is no such thing as spiritual liberation unless the global One Human Body is liberated from the enslavement of separation
The global One Human Body is the tangible manifestation of the human spirit. It has a name: Inti
Inti speaks and attempts to awaken its bodies
Liberation means that every member of the One Human Body is aware of itself and every other member as their own body. Means you are aware that I am your body. I am aware that you are my body; and so are all the several billion bodies
The gateway to this liberation is inner silence
Which way, which way?

The fifth chakra, located around the throat area, is about taking decisions and manifesting those decisions in the world and beyond. Here the self-compromising decisions about how we see ourselves are at home. We may have decided that we are not lovable long time ago. Once we’re aware of our self curtailing agreements we can change them in the same way we took them: by voicing our intent to change, by voicing how we want to change and by allowing ourselves to persist until those changes are manifested. When this area is healthy it has the qualities of water, adaptable, with a wide spectrum of possibilities at our fingertips.
Leading question and contemplation here is: "Who would I be and how would I be if I truly allowed myself to live in my power?"
A Clear Heart
The fourth chakra, located around the chest and heart area, is about relating to the people we share this life with, both individually and globally. When this chakra is balanced the flow of loving kindness towards all living beings and human beings is uninhibited.
When it is not balanced it is a cemetery of pain and hurt that hinders healthy relationships between people. Here, the many contracts with parents are set up. Agreements with alien entities that feed on us in exchange for favors like pseudo protection and safety are also common.
It is the place in our bodies where we carry the lessons of life that are here to teach us about unconditional love.
Leading question and contemplation here is: "What am I invested in? Is my heart truly in it?"
How to Read a Chakra
Learning about how to read a chakra has been a challenging process, mainly due to the time it takes to let the basic concepts settle in and take root as a new habit.
Mostly the challenge is to not confuse thinking with "reading". Thinking is sneaky, and has many ways to intrude. Reading is a challenge to the habit of thinking because it, thinking, does not like to give up the control over our bodies. It is generated by an entity - but I might get into that later at some point.
For now let me be happy with having, maybe finally, grasped the basics of reading a chakra as Robin teaches us in her course. They are: read the structure, diameter, emotion, personality, meaning and general wellness.
That's it. How to read these? I feel it is best to take a class with Robin on that because it takes practice and supervision to make sure thinking does not sneak up on you.
How big is the Big Picture?

When tapping into the power of the sixth chakra, the seat of the third eye, be prepared to open your mind to great visionary insight.
Here you'll find access to that knowledge you've always wanted to have access to. You can see the destiny and mood of your ancestors, the whereabout of specific relatives of yours, and find access to your highest guidance. You can have access to sight that reveals what is really going on on this planet.
Here, Truth may be revealed to you that you may not be ready to see. If you aren't, you'll downplay your vision, even ridicule it. This area will close as a result and you will live with that constant feeling of missing something.
But when it is open it can be like a satellite dish that connects you directly with the inspiration from Source which comes through the chakra above, the seventh chakra.
How could you get ready for the biggest possible sight and Truth?
Drop down one chakra into the 5th chakra and declare it in your voice in your words to the universe.
If it resonates as true, you'll know you are ready and things will start changing in your life. That will be your confirmation that you are truly in receiving mode towards Source itself.
What needs to change so that this communication is clear to you?
How do you and others look through the lens of Your Third Chakra?
The third chakra is about being seen and heard. By whom? By other people? That is part of it certainly. However before we turn to the outside world and gage if we are liked and accepted by our fellow men, there is the layer of our own relationship towards ourselves.
What do I see? What do you see?
Do I like myself? Do I really really really like myself? Do you like yourself? To go even more wild: do I love myself? Do I dare love myself and not cut myself down because I am conditioned to believe that it is selfish to love myself or that I am not worthy? How about you, do you?
Just around your solar plexus is where you will feel it. When someone praises the new dress you are wearing, or your new car, that's where you are feeling that pleasant feeling. Also if someone criticizes you, or if you are anxious about a meeting, that crummy feeling is right here in your third chakra.
Your third chakra is as much about judgments whether good or bad ones, as it is about connecting with your spiritual trust that you are not only loved by Source but that you are Source itself showing up in this world as you, in this body of yours, as this soul.
Could you do anything else but love yourself from that perspective?
Only One Human Body - The Seventh Chakra
The seventh chakra of humanity is bathed in the light of spirit itself. This is the area of the collective body of humanity where the awareness and knowledge of the Spirit of Humanity resides.
When we are disconnected from that knowledge and awareness we are confused. That confusion can happen on an individual level and on a collective level.
When that happens unwanted entities have an easy time entering us. These are so powerful that they can distort our awareness. Yet that is not a bad thing because it is our set of lessons we need to learn as a race.
When we open up this area, we have clear knowledge that we are, as a race, not many disconnected bodies, but actually One Single Human Body.
Leading question: How am I aligned with the highest knowledge, with source itself?
The Miraculous Beginning of the New Me
My name is Stefan Fabry. I help people with chronic illness find the place inside themselves from which they can heal. I do this through creating the internal space of connection to spirit, since healing any disease can only happen with spirit. I have been trained in shamanic healing work with plant medicine, which is the voice of spirit itself in the world, since 2000 and focus on creating rituals and ceremonies for healing based on that training. People who work with me benefit additionally from the ongoing education I have subjected myself in the area of emotional and trauma healing for over two decades. I work one one one, both, remotely and in person.
For healing we need a new view of our lives
Take a look at my website www.xyzmygreatwebsiteinthefuture.com that addresses global healing through healing one person at a time (that website is soon to come btw. in case you clicked on the link)
To expand the ways people with chronic illness triggered by ongoing hidden stress are able to connect to such states of awareness, since January 2018 I am enrolled in a 2.5 year training to learn the skill of intuitive energy readings and healings which will help people with healing their emotions and blockages in their being. This program is led by Robin Eagle Sage @ www.RobinEagleSage.com
The program is an exciting journey into unknown territory by learning about meditations to keep us grounded, learning how to use colors in the context of healing, how to draw crucial information relevant for healings from reading an auric field. We are learning now, it's August 2018, about chakras and will be learning about many other aspects like medical intuition. Robin is a versed and seasoned teacher with a strong ability to teach us how to stay grounded, how to be in receiving mode and how to make the most of our own inspiration and intuition. I see myself and many of my fellow learners opening their wings ready to take off towards their potential.
I am grateful.
How do you open your wings?
Abandon Yourself
This is a beautiful chakra where lots of joy and fun and laughter is at home. Once it is free flowing it will make you want to jump out of your pants - literally and symbolically. It is as much about sensual pleasure and joyful sex as it is about being honest with oneself about what really feels good right now, on a bodily level, and now, and right now as well.
How to discover that boundless, playful joy?
Have you ever watched kittens playing with each other? Do you remember the absolute abandon, ruthlessness and total presence in each moment while they are playing? Do you remember how wild they can be? How provocative? How inviting? How receptive to each other's bodies and reactions?
That is the quality you want to engage in physical pleasure with your partner or in a dance or in a game you are playing. That is a first hand experience of the flowing second chakra.
How about the spiritual aspects of this chakra?
Remember last time you felt your intuition? Where did you feel it in your body? For me it is always around the lower area of my stomach, around where the second chakra is said to be located, a few inches below the belly button.
There is a lot that we receive through this area. On a gut level, as the saying goes, we know many times what is right for us and what is not right. This is the area we want to have filled with good thoughts, good feelings about ourselves. To keep it really healthy we need to learn to love ourselves boundlessly, not as delusional beings but as someone who truly gets in touch with one's true nature as an aspect of that which is unlimited and we all come from and we all go back to.
Enjoy deeply, we live only once.
Orange by the way is the base color for this chakra. Orange stands for joy and fun and truth towards oneself.
